Modern meeting rooms live a double life. The UC layer — Microsoft Teams Rooms, Zoom Rooms, Cisco Webex — is cloud-managed, well-instrumented and visible in its vendor console. The AV layer underneath it — projection and displays, DSP and amplification, cameras, switching, the control processor, the network — is what actually makes the room work, and the UC consoles can't see any of it. When “the Teams Room is down”, the cause is on the invisible layer more often than not.

AV & UC management means running both layers in one platform. AVDesk federates the UC and device clouds you already use — Microsoft Teams Rooms, Zoom Rooms, Cisco Webex Control Hub, Crestron XiO Cloud, Q-SYS Reflect, Logitech Sync, Poly Lens — via SSO (SAML/OIDC), so their health and alerts appear natively.
